HISTORY
Coffee has been a family tradition from generation to generation for over a century. Our coffee is cultivated in soils of volcanic origin which are rich in organic material, and the beans are hand selected to assure the high quality. Our farms are La Meseta and La Calera (and other coffee farms from the region), located in the municipality of Villamaría, department of Caldas Colombia.
Because of the great significance in the lives of Colombians, coffee is part of the culture of this country. Reason why, the COFFEE TRIANGLE (EJE CAFETERO), composed by the departments of Caldas, Quindío Risaralda, northern region of Valle del Cauca, and the northwest of Tolima, was declared by UNESCO in 2011, as "WORLD HERITAGE".
We invite you to visit one of the wonders of our planet: the beautiful Colombian coffee region, which is known as the COFFEE CULTURAL LANDSCAPE (PAISAJE CULTURAL CAFETERO), also rich in flora and fauna. Making part of this majestic region, you can visit the Nevado del Ruíz which hypnotizes us with its beauty; located near Manizales, capital of Caldas department.
